Introduction to Soil Science is a 12-week online offering, introducing many facets of our most accessible growing medium. Whether for vegetable gardeners or golf course superintendents, proper care of soil can ensure more healthy plants.

This course covers soils formation, physical and chemical soil properties, soil water, soil life, composting, fertilizers, essential plant nutrients, soils and tissue tests plus media and container production.
