Description:

This course enables students to assess the internal environmental compliance level of their operating facility and helps identify areas for improvement. Several environmental issues facing golf course management are discussed including equipment wash areas and effluent disposal; pesticide storage; understanding the Canadian pesticide registration process and its influence on IPM; public relations, etc.

Topics are looked at from a federal, provincial & municipal level.
