Description:
This course discusses production practices for fruits and vegetables and provides an introduction to managing cool-season turfgrasses. Plant propagation techniques, including seed, division and cuttings are discussed, as well as the selection and maintenance of plants in the water garden.

Vegetable Production - Discusses the importance of environmental conditions and the cultural practices required to grow vegetables.
Fruit Production - Describes cultural practices required to grow fruits and the impact and management of environment conditions.
Turf Management - Describes the cultural practices required to seed, sod, renovate and maintain home lawns.
Plant Propagation - An introduction to sexual (seeds) and asexual (divisions and cuttings) propagation techniques.
Plants in the Water Garden - Discusses water ecosystems and cultural practices required to grow tropical and hardy, submerged, floating, marginal and surface water plants.
