Certificate Recipients Reaches 300 Mark!

The Centre for Open Learning and Educational Support recently provided its 300th certificate for students involved in online learning programs in horticulture, turf, landscape and sustainable horticulture/agriculture. Certificates issued have included learners from all of our online programs:

In that five to seven courses are needed to meet the requirements of our certificates, recipients have clearly completed rigorous and demanding programs. Congratulations to all of you who have completed certificate studies and here’s to the many more that will choose to reach this learning goal.

Registration for the Fall 2012 courses will begin in June, 2012.

Master Gardeners of Ontario, Inc. is a volunteer organization comprised of certified horticultural experts who provide gardening advice to the public. Master Gardeners motivate and inspire home gardeners through presentations, gardening clinics, help lines and published articles. The University of Guelph Horticulturalist Certificate program includes three courses that satisfy the education requirement for Master Gardeners.
